Analysis of messages regarding key Polish and global politicians published in social media in Poland.
In the analyzed period (23 - 29 August), the greatest number of comments concerned Polish President Andrzej Duda and Russian leader Vladimir Putin. The other analyzed politicians enjoyed less interest.
Comments on Duda peaked on August 23 due to Crimean Platform in Kiev. The increase of entries also on August 29 following interview conducted by Bogdan Rymanowski on Radio Zet.
Putin, on the other hand, maintained regular high popularity among Internet users being referred to mostly as war criminal and in the context of the economic/energy crisis in Europe.
Emmanuel Macron noted an increase in the interest of Polish internet users on August 29 after meeting with Polish PM. Also mentioned in the context of discussion on gas interconnection with Spain.
